About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

As a Senior Product Manager or Product Management Director at Missionforce Agentforce Public Sector, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a critical product area impacting millions of users globally. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver innovative, scalable, and customer-centric solutions aligned with Salesforce’s long-term vision.

This role requires strong strategic thinking, deep customer empathy, and the ability to operate effectively across executive, technical, and go-to-market stakeholders. Given the breadth of responsibility, this is a highly autonomous role for a proactive product leader who can independently drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Define and deliver features that increase adoption, drive business growth, and delight customers, with a strong focus on public sector and government customers globally.
  • Create, prioritize, and execute a multi-release roadmap in partnership with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Own the product point of view and directional roadmap, including integration and partner ecosystem strategy.

Customer & Market Leadership

  • Engage directly with customers, partners, and internal product ambassadors to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities.
  • Act as the voice of the customer—owning requirements, specifications, and release planning.
  • Represent Salesforce as a product expert in customer engagements, industry events, and community forums.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Drive alignment across multiple engineering teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Partner closely with peer PMs on shared platforms and dependencies, ensuring cohesive product outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of shared ownership—success is collective.

Key Competencies & Qualifications

Product Leadership

  • 10+ years of product management or equivalent experience delivering enterprise-scale products.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end product development from concept through launch.
  • Strong leadership skills, including building and scaling geographically distributed product teams.
  • Ability to set a compelling vision and lead through both direct authority and influence.

Technical & Execution Excellence

  • Strong technical depth; comfortable engaging with architects and senior engineers on complex systems.
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices for web and mobile applications.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean, User-Centered Design).

Communication & Influence

  • Exceptional communicator with experience presenting to senior executives and C-level leaders.
  • Comfortable engaging external audiences including customers, partners, and analysts.
  • Strong ability to influence, align, and drive decisions in complex environments.

Mindset & Customer Focus

  • Entrepreneurial, decisive, and resilient; thrives in ambiguity.
  • Deep experience building customer relationships and translating customer needs into actionable product direction.
  • Public sector domain experience preferred but not required.
