As a Senior/Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for creating, expanding, maintaining and optimizing the production-based models and data pipeline for the Strategy & Operations team. You will access, cleanse, compile, and transform disparate data sets to conduct analyses using scientifically valid techniques. Generating meaningful insights as well as assisting with feasibility studies to identify data availability, quality and modeling requirements, and dependencies.
You will also be expected to guide the junior members of the team using your expert knowledge/experience.
Your Impact:

Help define the roadmap for the Strategy & Operations data science and engineering functional area.

Create and maintain optimal predictive and prescriptive data models.

Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements
-
Identify, design and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

Benchmark models against existing Salesforce predictive tools.
-
Support and collaborate on the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL.

Work with internal customers to understand their needs and author and define implementation plans and functional specifications that solve those needs.

Regularly assess and improve one's own performance in areas such as job knowledge, technical skills, productivity, accountability, quality, initiative, innovation, drive, working relationships, communications, leadership.

Mentor juniors in the team using your experience / expertise.
Minimum Requirements:
-
BS in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, similar data focused areas or equivalent experience.
-
8 year’s experience in an engineering role.
-
6 years of experience working in the Data Scientist role.
-
Ability to define scope of problems & design / implement solutions by collaborating with the relevant people.
-
Previous experience of end-to-end execution (Data collection--Feature selection--Model training--Model Deployment) of predictive models.
-
Experience in data, analytics, data warehousing concepts, and strong SQL proficiency.
-
Highly Technical. Experience with Python (preferred) or R, frameworks, test automation and debugging.

Collaborator. Ability managing complex projects from start to finish and working effectively across internal functional teams and with external vendor relationships.
Preferred Requirements:

Implemented data-science projects in the “Customer Success” or “Customer Support” domain.
