We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce QA Automation Senior Technical Consultant with 6 years of overall experience to lead test automation efforts across complex Salesforce implementations. This role requires deep hands-on experience in Salesforce testing, implementing test automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines, combined with strong consulting skills to collaborate with clients, architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who can define Test strategies, drive automation best practices, and ensure high-quality, scalable Salesforce solutions across clouds and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Testing & Automation:
-
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Salesforce applications (UI, API, and integration testing).
-
Lead end-to-end testing of Salesforce implementations including Core Clouds, Industry Clouds, and custom applications.
-
Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
-
Perform functional, regression, system, integration, and UAT support testing for Salesforce releases.
-
Validate complex Salesforce integrations with external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
-
Ensure data integrity and security through data validation and testing across environments.
Dev
Ops & Release Management:
-
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
-
Support Salesforce release cycles, deployments, and post-release validation.
-
Collaborate with development teams to enable shift-left testing and continuous quality practices.
Technical Leadership & Consulting:
-
Act as a Test Automation technical advisor for Salesforce projects, recommending best practices and tools.
-
Mentor junior Automation engineers and provide guidance on automation standards and frameworks.
-
Participate in solution design discussions to ensure testability, scalability, and quality from early stages.
-
Work closely with clients to understand business processes and translate them into robust QA strategies.
Quality Governance & Reporting:
-
Define and track quality metrics, test coverage, and defect trends.
-
Manage defect lifecycle using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
-
Provide clear, concise test reports and quality assessments to stakeholders.
Required Technical Skills
Experience:
-
6 years of hands-on experience Test Automation for Salesforce applications and integrations .
Salesforce Expertise:
-
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce platform testing, including:
-
Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Industry Clouds
-
Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows
-
Solid understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, and security model.
-
Experience testing Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
Test Automation & Tools:
-
Proven experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.
-
Strong experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
-
Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Spec Flow) is a plus.
-
Experience with test data management and environment coordination.
-
Experience with Provar, CRT or any equivalent commercial automation Tool
Dev
Ops & Engineering:
-
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
-
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
Required Soft Skills & Consulting Competencies:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
-
Proven ability to lead QA initiatives and influence technical decisions.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to mentor team members and promote a quality-first mindset.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.
-
Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-project environments.
Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer, or relevant Salesforce credentials).

Experience with large-scale enterprise Salesforce programs.
-
Exposure to performance, security, or accessibility testing is an advantage.
