Candidate must possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance with polygraph

The role will serve as the Industrial Security Specialist and will be responsible for working with the FSO and Industrial Security team in the administration of classified activities associated within the US Public Sector.

This position has administrative responsibilities associated with compliance to the NISPOM and Intelligence Community Directives. The Industrial Security Program Officer will administer a variety of tasks to ensure compliance with established Government requirements.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Work with the corporate Facility Security Officer and Information Systems Managers and overall Corporate team on complex initiatives.

  • Aid in self-inspections and preparation for government audits of cleared facilities.  Identify security risks and deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.

  • Create and administer initial and recurring security awareness education for cleared staff in accordance with NISPOM and customer requirements. Track and report on training completion

  • Prepare and deliver monthly written communications and quarterly in person updates for cleared personnel on relevant topics of interest.

  • Support industrial security team as needed with routine personnel and physical security activities.

  • Maintain security documentation and files in accordance with government requirements.

What we are looking for

  • **Must have current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph **

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the NISPOM and ICDs 303, 703

  • **Experience supporting the Intelligence Community **

  • Familiarity with NBIS, NISS, DISS and other government applications

  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills are required in order to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders

  • Detail oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to be adaptive to an evolving environment

  • Hybrid work schedule with required on-call rotation Nice to Haves:

  • Ability to provide security and IT troubleshooting support to engineering teams when needed

  • Experience operating and maintaining an Insider threat program

Education/Experience

  • 3 years experience in CSSO/FSO role; not necessary, but ISSM/ISSO experience desired

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Industrial Security

  • Facility Security Officer certification: either possess or ability to attain

This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship and agrees to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position.

This position requires a USA TS/SCI with Polygraph security access level.
