Lead Solution Engineer

The Role
As a Lead Solution Engineer (also known as Presales Engineer or Solution Consultant), you'll help our manufacturing customers unlock the full potential of AI - from intelligent automation to personalized experiences.
We welcome diverse profiles for this role. You may come from:
A manufacturing or industrial engineering background, with interest in digital transformation,or
A technical/AI-focused background, with hands-on experience in automation, data, or intelligent systems.
In this role, you'll work closely with our customers, account teams, and product experts to build trust, deliver innovative solutions, and shape the future of AI in manufacturing.
What You'll Be Doing
- Show how AI Agents and automation can solve real-world industry challenges.
- Understand customer goals and connect them with Salesforce solutions.
- Build compelling product demos and lead customer workshops.
- Run hands-on proof-of-concepts (POCs) in customer sandbox environments.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to tailor solutions.
- Be a trusted advisor for both IT and business leaders.
- Stay curious and keep up with Salesforce's evolving AI offerings.
Who You Are
You don't need to check every box to apply. We're looking for people with:
Either a Manufacturing / Industrial Background
- A degree in industrial engineering or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations.
- A passion for digital transformation in the industrial sector.
- *Salesforce experience or certifications are a strong plus.Or a Technical / AI Background
- Interest in AI and its practical applications in business.
- Familiarity with reading and understanding code (e.g. Java, JavaScript, APIs)
- Understanding of enterprise platforms such as Salesforce
Salesforce certifications are a strong plus.
What You Bring:
- A collaborative and curious mindset.
- Confidence in engaging with customers and explaining complex topics.
- Passion for innovation, automation, and business impact.
- Fluency in English and German; French is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Salesforce certifications (e.g. Admin, Platform App Builder, AI Associate).
- Previous experience with Salesforce solutions or ecosystem.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
