About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic paralegal to join our Global Governance legal team based in London. This position, Paralegal, Global Governance, will report to the Senior Director, Global Governance.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Director and team with international subsidiary corporate governance and compliance matters
• Maintain and organize records and database for international subsidiaries
• Assist with subsidiary acquisitions and integrations
• Coordinate filings with governmental agencies
• Coordinate with external legal counsel worldwide to ensure local compliance on governance matters
• Coordinate with internal clients (accounting, tax, treasury, business) to support compliance obligations and business needs

Required Experience

• Bachelors' degree and excellent academic credentials
• 3 or more years' experience as a corporate paralegal or similar role, ideally with experience at a major law firm and/or in-house at a public company
• Experience in subsidiary corporate governance matters
• Keen attention to detail and a very high standard for accuracy
• A sound work ethic, efficient working style, and high level of organization. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
• Flexibility and intellectual curiosity; strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Superior judgment, discretion, and ability to properly handle confidential and sensitive information
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team orientation; ability to work cross-functionally at all levels of the organization
• Sense of humor and high level of professionalism
