The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all. Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
Overview of the Role
We are looking for a collaborative and visionary Lead Solution Engineer to join our Sydney team. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to the world's most admired retail brands, helping them connect to their customers in a whole new way. You will partner with our customers to reach new heights together—improving customer adoption and growth, helping them achieve business value faster, and enabling them to work more effectively than ever before. When you join our Sales team, you will be part of the group bringing the first generative AI for CRM with Einstein GPT to life. We take an inclusive approach to attracting talent and strive to provide the royal treatment for everyone as we continue to build a great organization.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with leading retail brands to understand their unique goals and design B2C Commerce solutions that make their shopping experiences seamless and inclusive.
- Create and deliver inspiring demonstrations that showcase the power of headless commerce, mobile-first design, and integrated payments to diverse audiences.
- Successfully partner with business leaders to understand their needs and design the right technical strategy to help them grow.
- Act as a mentor and technical beacon for the broader commerce community at Salesforce, helping your teammates flourish through knowledge sharing and support.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in digital commerce or technical consulting, with a focus on building meaningful relationships and solving complex problems.
- Deep understanding of the B2C digital commerce landscape, including experience with platforms like Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud or similar ecosystems
- Ability to translate technical architectures into clear, value-driven stories that resonate with both creative marketing teams and technical developers.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment where collaboration and diverse perspectives are essential to achieving a shared goal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building business cases and service requirements that align technology with long-term brand values.
- Prior success in mentoring others or leading projects in a way that encourages team growth and learning.
- Familiarity with modern web architectures, such as JavaScript frameworks or headless commerce patterns.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing high-impact projects with empathy and focus.
