The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all. Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About the Role

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Real Estate Sourcing, Programs & Governance to join our Real Estate Strategy & Operations team. This strategic role is the essential bridge between our global Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS) teams and the broader Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Finance, and Legal functions at Salesforce, and our external partners including third party providers.

The successful candidate will be a high-impact senior program leader responsible for developing and governing the critical processes that allow REWS to source and procure goods and services globally, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance while minimizing risk. This role will create and lead strategic initiatives and programs designed to enhance the operational partnership between REWS and Procurement, streamlining global sourcing operations and driving measurable improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the entire real estate lifecycle from strategy and global sourcing to transactions, project design & delivery, and ongoing operations to effectively speak both the REWS and Procurement languages and guide both parties to successful outcomes. This role requires expertise in procurement, financial governance, process efficiency, and senior stakeholder socialization to drive operational excellence throughout our global portfolio.

The successful candidate will be the REWS Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities.

Reports to: Senior Director, Real Estate Finance Operations & Compliance

Responsibilities

  • Lead REWS Procurement strategy and operations, teaming closely with the Salesforce Sourcing & Procurement and our REWS teams to lead strategic initiatives that enhance operational partnership, drive process efficiency and ensure compliance across our Source-to-Pay process
  • Serve as the primary liaison and SME guiding diverse REWS teams (Project Delivery & Design, Workplace Services, Real Estate Strategy & Transactions) through the end-to-end global sourcing, contract, and procurement process. Answer questions or bring in the appropriate partners when necessary (Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, Legal, etc)
  • Proactively build high-value business partnerships across the Salesforce organization
  • Generate, track, and continuously communicate the end-to-end REWS pipeline of projects from early strategic sourcing through final internal approval to internal partners and key stakeholders. This process is critical to promote early engagement and strategic discussion in sourcing decisions
  • Lead change management and adoption strategies to ensure new procurement programs, policies, and workflows are successfully embedded across REWS and partner organizations
  • Implement, amend and socialize appropriate policies, procedures, controls and playbooks to ensure REWS-wide compliance with applicable internal standards
  • Leverage existing data sources to develop dashboard reporting on key metrics that monitor the financial and operational performance of procurement functions against budget and industry benchmarks
  • Lead and manage comprehensive business reviews and performance strategies for key third-party vendors, providing oversight and rigorous review of contract adherence, KPI's, and overall service delivery quality
  • Own and continuously optimize the REWS Source-to-Pay operating model and supporting technology ecosystems (Budgetforce, Coupa, My Procurement Center, Workday and related tools), ensuring system design, controls, and user experience align with global REWS operational needs
  • Partner with Finance, Internal Audit, and Legal to ensure procurement policies, controls, and workflows are audit-ready, scalable, and aligned with enterprise risk standards; lead remediation efforts when gaps are identified
  • Support financial discipline across the REWS portfolio by strengthening approval governance, monitoring forecast vs. actual spend, and improving change order and cost control practices

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Procurement, Finance and/or Business Administration related
  • 7+ years experience in Corporate Real Estate, Procurement, Compliance, Operations, and/or Finance roles
  • Understanding of procurement processes throughout the real estate lifecycle, from strategy to transactions and project design & delivery through ongoing operations
  • Deep understanding of procurement operations, with focus on corporate real estate procurement
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and driving major initiatives across diverse, geographically dispersed, global teams and time zones. Must be comfortable engaging in early morning or late evening calls as required by global operations

Key Skills:

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity. Must possess the ability to develop new programs from the ground up and drive to actionable answers where processes or precedents do not yet exist
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate change and operational improvements through indirect influence and leadership without direct reporting authority
  • Ability to develop and communicate financial objectives, inspire and motivate distributed teams and maintain alignment to the business strategies
  • Outstanding analytical and organizational skills while having attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as in a leadership role with proven ability to maintain composure under deadline pressure
  • Ability to think strategically and act in a detailed, hands-on manner while operating in a high impact, results-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Effectively collaborate across multiple teams (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Sourcing & Procurement) and within the REWS organization
