About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About the Role:

Are you passionate about the intersection of Sales and Finance? Join us to revolutionise how major ANZ enterprises manage their entire revenue lifecycle.
As a Lead Solution Engineer, focusing on Revenue Cloud solutions, you'll be the trusted strategic advisor for our most complex customers. You will lead pre-sales engagements and drive digital transformation across subscription-based businesses, manufacturing, high-tech, media, and professional services sectors in the ANZ market.
Salesforce is revolutionizing revenue operations with AI-powered solutions that connect sales, finance, and customer success teams. You'll work with cutting-edge technology including tools for automating pricing and quoting (CPQ), billing, and financial reporting (Revenue Recognition), as well as all the latest in agentic AI for revenue operations.
You'll work closely with Account Executives, customers, and cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and customer success. A Note on Experience: While deep Solution Engineering experience is valued, we highly encourage candidates from backgrounds in Management Consulting, Finance Transformation, Product Management (SaaS), or ERP Implementation with strong business acumen and a passion for technology to apply. We are looking for individuals who can bridge the gap between sales, finance, and IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales Leadership

  • Lead complex Revenue Cloud sales cycles from discovery through to close, acting as the primary technical advisor
  • Develop and deliver innovative, custom solutions that address customer business requirements across subscription businesses, manufacturing, high-tech, telecommunications, media, professional services, and other industries with complex pricing and billing needs
  • Coordinate the entire solution cycle through close collaboration with Sales, Product, Finance Solutions, Customer Success, and Partner teams
  • Present compelling Revenue Cloud solutions to audiences ranging from Rev Ops teams and IT architects through to CFOs and C-level executives
  • Conduct collaborative discovery workshops to understand customer business challenges, current Quote-to-Cash processes, revenue recognition requirements, and billing complexities
  • Design and demonstrate proof-of-concept solutions showcasing Revenue Cloud capabilities including advanced CPQ configurations, complex pricing rules, subscription management, usage-based billing, and revenue recognition automation

Technical Expertise

  • Translate complex customer challenges into secure, scalable Revenue Cloud architectural solutions spanning the entire Quote-to-Cash lifecycle
  • Provide deep technical guidance on CPQ, Billing, Revenue Recognition, and integration patterns with ERP, payment gateways, tax engines, and financial systems
  • Champion Revenue Cloud best practices for product catalog design, pricing waterfall configuration, quote-to-order automation, billing and invoicing workflows, and revenue recognition policies
  • Articulate solutions for complex scenarios including multi-currency, multi-entity, contract amendments, renewals, co-terming, proration, usage-based pricing, and milestone billing
  • Stay current with Revenue Cloud product roadmap and new capabilities (including Quoting Agent and Einstein features), translating these into customer value propositions

Strategic Partnership

  • Serve as trusted advisor to C-level finance and operations executives, understanding their revenue models, financial compliance requirements, competitive landscape, and growth strategies.
  • Articulate the business value and quantifiable ROI for modernising revenue operations, linking technology implementation directly to financial outcomes.
  • Act as the critical bridge between Sales, Finance, and IT stakeholders translating complex business requirements into scalable technology architectures.
  • Collaborate with System Integrator partners to design comprehensive implementation approaches
  • Contribute to the broader ANZ Revenue Cloud practice through knowledge sharing, best practice development, and mentoring of junior SEs
  • Build deep industry expertise in subscription economy, SaaS, manufacturing, telecommunications, media, and other sectors relevant to the ANZ market

Required Experience & Skills:

Essential

  • Deep understanding of the entire Revenue Operations, Quote-to-Cash processes, pricing strategies, subscription management, billing cycles, and revenue recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15)
  • 6-8+ years of experience in enterprise software sales engineering, revenue operations consulting, Quote-to-Cash implementations, or related technical pre-sales roles
  • 3-5+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud products (CPQ, Billing, and/or Revenue Recognition) or similar Quote-to-Cash platforms
  • Strong technical knowledge of CPQ architecture including product/price books, quote line editor, pricing rules, approval workflows, contract amendments, renewals, and quote generation

  • Experience working in or selling into the ANZ market with understanding of local business practices, financial compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic, fast-paced team environments

Preferred
