Role Overview

The SLG team is seeking a Named Account Executive with a strong track record of selling enterprise software to Justice and Public Safety to the state of NYC. This is a new business development, "hunter" role responsible for building long-term relationships and growing revenue with State Government agencies. We seek a motivated team player who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with 10+ years of sales experience and a commitment to deliver business outcomes that exceed expectations.

Day to Day

  • Generate new business in existing accounts and in new markets
  • Play a key role in driving strategic, enterprise-wide xRM, analytics, and application platform initiatives
  • Develop opportunities through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting
  • Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts
  • Assist with development and execution of overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
  • Coordinate internal resources to meet customer business needs
  • Assist with account planning, coordinating with other sales resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Share value proposition for existing and/or new customers
  • Drive growth within new and existing assigned accounts
  • Work closely with customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique challenges and goals
  • Consult with customers on the Salesforce Mule Soft Platform to evangelize solutions that help them reach their business goals
  • Contribute to business growth in a collaborative, fast-paced, and fun atmosphere

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales, account management and Enterprise-level sales experience
  • Proven track record of success focused on selling into Justice and Public Safety
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies including extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.

  • Strong preference for candidates living in the state of New York City

Compensation

  • Base pay range: $155,700 to $208,300
