Sail Point is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to help build a new cloud-based SaaS identity analytics product. We are looking for well-rounded backend or full stack engineers who are passionate about building and delivering reliable, scalable microservices and infrastructure for SaaS products. As the technical leader on the team you will be relied upon to support the others through technical design, planning and execution leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust Java/Go based microservices.

• Produce designs, high level estimates and implement features based on product requirements.

• Lead technical feasibility studies and proof-of-concepts for N-tier SaaS solutions.

• Collaborate with Principal Engineers and the architecture team to design and implement robust, scalable solutions.

• Perform technical design reviews and code reviews for the team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience

• Strong Java and GO experience

• Great communication skills, both verbal and written

• BS in Computer Science, or a related field

• Advanced experience with object-oriented analysis and design skills

• Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth and other authorization models, and JSON Web Tokens (JWT).

Preferred

• Experience with AWS

• Experience with Continuous Delivery Advanced understanding of JavaScript Frameworks such as React, Angular or Backbone, knows ES5 to ES6+ "

• Experience instrumenting code for gathering production performance metrics

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with Sail Point.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Sail Point Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. Sail Point maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Sail Point’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$129,000 - $217,474.00
Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
