Sail Point's finance team plays a crucial role in providing support, guidance and collaboration across all organizations within the company to aid in Sail Point's mission to continue to remain an innovative presence in the cybersecurity world.
Senior Revenue Analyst with the overall responsibility for initial set-up, documentation, and tracking of sales contracts in accordance with ASC 606 and the Company’s policy. Individual will be part of a team effort to perform proper compliance and documentation of all new sale global transactions.
- Perform end-to-end review of customer contracts (new licenses, SaaS subscriptions, add-ons, and statements of work) for revenue recognition implications under ASC 606

- Perform initial review of sales contracts
Document contract key data points
Highlight contract points for additional review in accordance with company policy and authoritative accounting guidance
Follow-up with Contracts, Sales, Order to Cash and Professional Service Teams on any open items related to deal completion

Complete deal analysis memos, document key terms, and highlight non-standard items requiring escalation

Stand-alone Selling Price (SSP) Monitoring – maintain on-going detail and analysis database of transactions to support SSP by revenue stream

Assist with monitoring and tracking qualitative deal information used for analysis under accounting revenue guidance

Review stand-alone statement-of-work(s) and document initial revenue conclusion related to impact with any related license or SaaS contract and coordinate proper revenue treatment

Assist in the documentation, creation, and maintenance of internal policies, procedures, and controls

Create detailed reporting as needed for management purposes

Assist Finance Ops Team with any transactional questions and renewals analysis as requested

Prepare supporting documentation for audit and tax requests as needed

Perform other duties and projects related to role as assigned
Required Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
-
2–5 years of relevant experience in revenue accounting, or technical accounting (public accounting + industry experience + academic welcome)

Understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles; SaaS/software industry experience highly preferred
-
Excellent organization skills and detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple, competing tasks simultaneously

Experience with an Accounting ERP system, experience with Net Suite a plus
-
Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating cross-functionally
-
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, etc.)

Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and documentation

Experience with SSP analysis, SOX documentation, or credit review processes is a significant plus

Strong analytical skills and leadership qualities
Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with Sail Point.
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Sail Point Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. Sail Point maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Sail Point’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):
$73,500 - $105,000 - $136,500
Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
