Technology Supplier Management Analyst:

Position Overview:

The Technology Supplier Management Analyst supports the end-to-end management of its technology supplier ecosystem, including networking, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and related technical service providers. This role partners closely with the lead of technology sourcing to execute sourcing initiatives, manage vendor onboarding and renewals, monitor supplier performance and risk, and ensure financial and operational alignment across critical technology vendors.

This position is ideal for a highly analytical, systems-minded, and stakeholder-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, governance-driven environment.

Core Responsibilities:

Technology Sourcing & Negotiation Support

  • Support sourcing initiatives including RFPs, RFIs, and competitive bids across technology categories (networking, infrastructure, SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud).

  • Prepare supplier analyses, cost models, benchmarking, and usage assessments.

  • Assist in negotiation preparation by gathering licensing data, consumption metrics, and market intelligence.

  • Track contract terms, renewal milestones, and pricing commitments.

  • Support total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and cost optimization initiatives.

Technology Vendor Onboarding & Governance

  • Coordinate vendor onboarding activities including intake documentation, risk assessments, and system setup.

  • Partner with Legal, Procurement, Risk, and Information Security to ensure vendors meet security and compliance standards.

  • Maintain accurate contract metadata and documentation within procurement and contract management systems.

  • Ensure appropriate documentation of data security, confidentiality, and cyber provisions.

Supplier Performance & Operational Oversight

  • Support monitoring of supplier performance against SLAs and contractual obligations.

  • Assist in preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with strategic technology vendors.

  • Track performance metrics, service disruptions, and remediation actions.

  • Escalate vendor performance or risk issues to the Technology Lead.

Renewals & License Management

  • Maintain technology vendor renewal calendar.

  • Support renewal planning by analyzing:

Usage trends

  • Licensing consumption

  • Cost structures

  • Market alternatives

  • Coordinate proactive renewal discussions to avoid auto-renewal risk.

  • Identify consolidation and rationalization opportunities across tools and platforms.

Risk & Security Coordination

  • Support coordination of cybersecurity and third-party risk assessments.

  • Track remediation requirements and ensure follow-up with vendors.

  • Maintain documentation supporting compliance with Info Sec standards.

  • Partner with Information Security to ensure vendor security posture meets organizational requirements.

Savings & Financial Visibility

  • Track savings initiatives and cost-avoidance efforts across technology suppliers.

  • Maintain dashboards to provide visibility into:

Spend by vendor

  • Contract exposure

  • Upcoming renewals

  • Support Finance and Technology leadership reporting needs.

Systems & Process Support

  • Support transition from manual tracking to Coupa-based workflows.

  • Assist with configuration and continuous improvement of Coupa processes related to technology procurement.

  • Help document workflows, intake processes, and approval routing.

  • Maintain supplier and contract data integrity across systems.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, technology operations, or related analytical role.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret contract, licensing, and spend data.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Technology, Legal, Finance, and Risk teams.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting SaaS, infrastructure, networking, or cybersecurity vendors.

  • Familiarity with licensing models and cloud consumption billing.

  • Experience supporting RFPs or vendor negotiations.

  • Familiarity with procurement or CLM tools (Coupa strongly preferred).

  • Exposure to third-party risk management (TPRM) or security review processes.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
