Are you interested in playing a key role in defining the future of Aerospace and Defense? If so, we are hiring an ERP Business Analyst – (Plan to Sustain) to help drive our oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation program.

The OneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation Program will harmonize key business processes, associated tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems. RTX has chosen SAP’s S/4HANA to enable our future ERP system and has largely concluded the strategic definition and design phase and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases.

You are the ideal candidate if you have experience working within an organization that is responsible for driving large scale, complex programs and projects related to business process and system transformation, ideally ERP implementation using SAP’s S/4HANA solution.

The SAP Planning consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring and optimizing the Planning management module in S/4HANA to support business processes related to Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) including Make-to-Order, Make-to-Stock and Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO). This role involves participation in both large and small-scale SAP implementations, system alignments, and the ongoing support of existing solutions. The consultant will lead the delivery of end-to-end solutions from proof of concept through full project implementation while also providing training and guidance to business users. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused professional with strong analytical skills, capable of independently resolving issues and driving effective business solutions in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand business Production Planning requirements.
• Configure and customize the SAP PP module in S/4HANA to meet business needs.
• Lead and execute end-to-end SAP PP implementations in S/4HANA.
• Integrate PP with other SAP modules for seamless process flow.
• Conduct system testing, user training, UAT and post go-live support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PP processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver best practice solutions in the aerospace industry.

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in SAP PP, with a strong focus on S/4HANA.
• Must have hands-on experience in SAP configuration and customization of PP processes.
• Strong understanding of PP principles and business process analysis including MRP, demand planning, inventory and replenishment strategies and forecasting.
• Understanding of manufacturing execution including Make to Stock, Make to Order, MRP, MPS, GPD/PMMO, as well as Aftermarket processes.
• Experience with data migration in SAP S/4HANA.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and effective communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP systems including system configuration, batch processing, data management, IDOCs and/or APIs.
• Experience with at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation.
• Experience with SIOP including Kinaxis and IBP
• Experience with S/4HANA Fiori Apps and embedded analytics
