What You Will Do

• The Production Engineering group at Pratt & Whitney is currently looking for a motivated Intern to join our team in support of commercial and military small Turbo Jets (TJ) and Auxiliary Power Units (APU) within the Fighter Mobility business group. The unit is responsible for overseeing and improving designs, manufacturing, and engine test processes for legacy and new production small military engines
• As a Production Engineering Intern, you will participate in the day-to-day support of engine operations that span the mature phases of the engineering life cycle, including supply chain support, engine assembly, engine test, sustainment, and engineering change validation/incorporation.
• It is an exciting time at Pratt & Whitney! This is a unique opportunity for a college student in Engineering to get some high-quality industry experience and potentially start a long career working cutting-edge technologies on the best engines in the world.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with the MS Office Suite – Excel, Power Point, Word.
• Experience with CAD tools: UG NX, CREO, or CATIA

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
