Job Description:

You will construct, modify machine shop tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Work with engineers and tool designers to develop tools. Work from blueprints, specifications and diagrams. Checks work with instruments. EXAMPLE of the latter: You will report to the Maintenance and Tool Room Supervisor. This is a 2nd Shift role (Monday-Friday 3:00PM- 11:00PM). You will be onsite in our Ladysmith, WI production plant.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain molds.
• Modifies, calibratesplastic injection mold tools, dies, jigs and fixtures.
• Repair or manufacture parts to maintain production tooling/molds.
• Confer with engineers, production, and others to resolve tooling related problems.
• Select, align, and secure holding fixture, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, EDM's, lathes and grinders.
• Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications.
• Perform general maintenance on Toolroom equipment.

The Essentials

You Will Have:

• High School Diploma/GED.

• Machine Tool background (CNC mill, lathe, surface grinder).
