Job Description:

Summary:

Project Manager (Industrial Automation)

A Project Manager at Rockwell Automation leads projects through their entire lifecycle—from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure. You will ensure projects meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality goals while complying with Rockwell Automation's Quality Management System (QMS) standards.

You will be reporting to Director Engineering Delivery / Sr. Manager in a hybrid capacity.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; monitor progress and implement
  • Coordination & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for customers and other teams; lead project meetings and manage team member expectations.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure deliverables meet QMS requirements and follow engineering standards.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Reporting: Provide regular status updates, financial forecasts, and documentation for partners.

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (preferred).
  • We prefer a PMP or equivalent.
  • Total experience 10-15 years with 2-4 years in project management in industrial automation or related sectors.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products and tools like Microsoft Project.
  • Inspire, guide, and develop teams to achieve organisational goals.
  • Plan and prioritisation capabilities to ensure efficient workflow and resource management.
  • Foster collaboration and understanding across all levels.
  • Project Management: experience to manage multiple projects within a matrix environment, ensuring delivery and quality outcomes.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

  • Experience in project management for process automation
  • Partner with multiple team members and influence project decisions, teamwork, customer service
