Job Description:

Maintenance / Equipment Asset Management Professionals urgently required for Rockwell Automation who are a world leader in industrial automation with a reputation for innovation, quality and reliability. You will work on behalf of the Lifecycle Services department. This unit also offers technical support, training, and manufacturing consultancy through other delivery mechanisms. The goal is to help provide complete solutions to their customer's needs.

Within the role you will embed yourself on a customer site and help the customer reduce the cost of maintenance on site whilst increasing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Rockwell Automation has an excellent reputation for developing a strategic maintenance approach which can also directly influence the efficiency of the maintenance department.

You will report to the RAAMP Delivery Manager.

You will work on-site in location of P&G Manchester.

Your Responsibilities:

  • On site professional management of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO).
  • Work with systems that allow the company to track its repairable inventory and apply associated warranty programmes.
  • Develop clear working Standard Operating Procedures detailing process flow and operational requirements for daily activities to support the maintenance and repair operations.
  • Provide contact for maintenance repairs and asset tracking.
  • Inventory management: the daily running of consignment stock and its reorganisation in partnership with the customer.
  • Reduce MRO stock duplication and obsolescence.
  • Provide migration, rationalisation, and standardisation strategies to reduce MRO inventory asset value.
  • Support productivity improvements through delivery of parts and solutions to the maintenance/engineering teams, whilst providing an overall lower total cost of ownership.
  • Provide monthly financial reports.
  • Source and arrange consignment of new purchases.
  • Work with client departments including plant management, maintenance, engineering, purchasing and distributors to identify and create efficiency plans for maintenance.
  • Increase "Out of the box" reliability of spare repairable assets, through the use internal and external vendor capability.

The Essentials

You Will Have:

  • English communication skills at all levels of the company, both written and verbal.
  • Collaborate skills: with production, engineering, and maintenance departments to increase productivity while reducing overall maintenance and support costs.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Experience managing relationships with internal, external customers and suppliers
  • Ability to work in a changeable environment, to achieve targets and a high level of customer satisfaction.
