Job Description:

Team Leader – CI and Automation

Noida/Pune-India

The Team Leader – CI and Automation manages a team of CI and automation professionals and improving initiatives across GEBS and enterprise wide. You will combine people leadership, programme management, and technical expertise in CI & Automation, and process excellence. The Team Lead will promote a culture of continuous improvement, oversee automation and process optimization projects, and ensure alignment with organizational strategy, governance, and compliance standards.

You will be reporting to MANAGER- QMS and CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of CI and automation professionals, setting clear goals, monitoring progress, and providing constructive feedback.

• End-to-end development, maintenance, and governance of the CI frameworks.

• Implement annual CI/Automation goals, project pipeline, including Lean, RPA, Celonis and other projects.

• Ensure disciplined application of CI methodologies and automation best practices.

• Oversee change management for CI and automation projects, ensuring successful adoption, testing, deployment, and sustenance.

• Act as a liaison between CI team, technical development groups, and business/capability functions (Engineering, Operations, IT, Finance).

• Facilitate process modelling, framing sessions, and root cause analysis to identify waste and recommend improvements.

• Partner with departments to tie productivity and capacity creation directly to business outcomes.

• Provide executive- and presentations on CI and automation strategy, progress, and influence.

• Benchmark CI and automation practices against industry standards to ensure Rockwell Automation remains a leader in operational excellence

• Persuade experienced and sometimes reluctant staff to adopt CI methods and process improvements.

The Essentials

You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science or related discipline.

• 8 or more years of experience with 4 to 6 years in CI and Automation.

• Experience leading CI and automation programmes and working with cross functional teams.

• Track record across all organisational levels.

• End-to-end expertise covering CI and automation project lifecycle, data-process interactions, and analytics.

• Fluent English language skills (speaking, reading, writing, and listening).

• Exposure to global work styles and customer engagement across regions.

The Preferred

You Might Also Have:

• Prior experience of Engineering Delivery and Operations process automation/improvement.

• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, IFS) and automation tools (RPA, Celonis).
