Job Description:

Job Summary:

• The Business Development Manager
• Process will drive growth in process industries by shaping demand, enabling partners and ensuring high‑quality execution of Distributed Control System (DCS) projects. The role strengthens customer experience through improved partner capability, consistent delivery discipline and strong brand positioning for PlantPAx. You will report to Director, Partnering India and will be based in Vadodara/Pune having a hybrid work schedule.

Your Responsibilities:

Market & Opportunity Development

• Identify, qualify and grow opportunities across key process verticals.
• Conduct market mapping, competitive analysis and account penetration planning.
• Build a predictable pipeline in collaboration with sales teams and partners.

Customer Engagement & Technical Leadership:

• Serve as a domain specialist for process industries in customer interactions.
• Lead workshops, concept discussions, and solution framing for strategic projects.

3. Partner Enablement & Execution Excellencea.

Improve Delivery Quality:

• Step up System Integrator (SI) delivery performance through a structured continuous improvement framework.
• Implement scorecards, audits, execution templates, and best‑practice guidelines.
• Upgrade SI pre‑sales capability in architecture definition, sizing, and value positioning.

Dedicated DCS Business Support:

• Provide focused support to partners for pre‑sales, solutioning, proposals, and project readiness.
• Benchmark competitor models

Amplify PlantPAx Branding:

• Consolidate and strengthen PlantPAx branding in the marketplace.
• Drive consistent messaging in customer events, proposals, workshops, and partner engagements.
• Build and promote reference installations to enhance credibility.

d.

Address System Inefficiencies:

• Identify recurring solution or process inefficiencies and work with Business Units to resolve them.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to remove operational friction and improve customer and partner experience.

The Essentials

You Will Have:

• B.E (Instrumentation, Electrical or related).
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in automation or process industries.
• Growth in process industry share.
• Experience building Strong, high‑quality pipeline.
• Faster pursuit cycles and higher win‑rates
• Strengthened partner capability and delivery quality.
• Enhanced customer satisfaction and validated references.
• Strong market recognition for PlantPAx

• Awareness on AI and it’s use cases in process applications.
• Certified PMP.
