Position Applied For: Commercial Engineer

Professional Summary

Experienced automation professionals experience in Rockwell Automation control platforms and SWC solutions. Experience providing pre-sales technical support, design complex system architectures, and deliver application engineering expertise to ensure customer success. Familiar with troubleshooting, conducting Proof of Concept (POC), and engaging customers through technical demonstrations.

You will be reporting to Commercial Engineering Manager and will work in Hybrid mode from Gurgaon/Noida.

Your Responsiblities

• 5 or more years of experience.
• Strong knowledge on Rockwell Automation Control Platforms
• Logix 5000 Programming & Integrated Architecture
• HMI/SCADA Development (Factory Talk View SE/ME)
• Thin Manager Configuration
• Cybersecurity & CIP Security Concepts
• Network Protocols (Ether Net/IP, VLANs, Subnetting)
• Switch Configuration & Network Hardening
• Technical Training & Knowledge Transfer
• Customer Engagement & Technical Demonstrations

The Essentials-You will have:

Technical Expertise-

• Control Systems: Logix 5000, Studio 5000
• Visualization: Factory Talk Suite, Thin Manager
• Networking: Ethernet/IP, VLAN, Industrial Protocols
• Cybersecurity: CIP Security, Network Hardening
• Database Knowledge: SQL, Historian, Batch Systems
• Tools: Factory Talk Suite, Studio 5000

Professional Experience-

• Provide pre-sales support to Sales Teams across India.
• Deliver technical, commercial, and engineering leadership in application engineering of SWC products and solutions.
• Help with design and validation of complex system solutions for SIs and end customers.
• Build competency to deploy SWC product demos for internal teams and channel partners.
• Be a focal point for escalated post-sales support issues and conduct onsite troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with global Commercial Engineering and product development teams to expedite resolutions and drive enhancements.

Education-

• Engineering Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Industrial Automation (or equivalent relevant experience).
