Job Description:

You will create test plans, develop test cases, and support both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality. It requires reviewing requirements, reporting test progress, documenting findings, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes. You will also explore new technologies and collaborating with global engineering teams.

You will report to Senior Manager, Software Engineering and follow a Hybrid working schedule in Singapore

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans for new features or help existing ones ensuring they meet the established requirements.
• Consider tradeoffs between requirements, speed, cost and coverage.
• Provide progress reports.
• Create test cases and related documents that meets the product quality requirements, including traceability.
• Create test automation plans and automate required test cases.
• Conduct manual or automated tests, reports anomalies, and characterise the anomalies based on company quality criteria.
• Participate in reviews of requirement documents, test cases and user documentation.
• Be willing to research and explore new avenues by using the latest technologies and standards.

The Essentials

You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industry Automation or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a software product development environment for engineer role
• Direct experience writing automated test cases using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Direct experience with Agile software development process
• We also welcome applications from fresh graduates and individuals who may not have direct experience in all the listed skills

The Preferred

You Might Also Have:

• Be familiar with manual and automated testing methodologies
• Be familiar with test automation framework
• Apply knowledge of testing cloud-based software products
• Can speak both English and Chinese
• Experience in evaluation of AI applications – LLM features, RAG systems and multi-agent workflows.
• You will collaborate with engineers based in China; therefore, collaborating in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
