Robinhood’s Privacy Office is looking for a Privacy Program Manager to help scale and operationalize the company’s privacy initiatives! This role sits within the Office of the CPO and partners closely with Privacy Engineering, Privacy Legal, and Privacy Compliance. You'll bring structure and operational discipline to critical privacy initiatives that impact the company globally. It’s a high-impact opportunity for someone passionate about privacy and program excellence.
As Privacy Program Manager, you’ll drive key initiatives across the Privacy function, enabling operational rigor, tracking program execution, and aligning privacy priorities with Robinhood’s broader business goals.
This role is based in our New York City office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

Lead planning, prioritization, and tracking of key privacy initiatives across Privacy Engineering and Privacy Compliance

Develop and manage frameworks for project intake, resource tracking, and delivery oversight

Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to define accountability models for privacy workstreams

Own program metrics, OKRs, dashboards, and business reviews across the Privacy Office

Support reporting on privacy risk posture and program maturity to internal and external stakeholders

Drive alignment across Privacy Engineering, Legal, and Compliance on roadmaps, deliverables, and timelines
-
Manage communication, reporting, and documentation for executive and cross-functional visibility
-
Advance process maturity for Privacy by Design, RoPA maintenance, vendor risk, and assessment workflows
-
Translate regulatory obligations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) into clear, measurable program goals
What you bring
-
3+ years of privacy program or project management experience in tech or Fin Tech environments
-
Strong grasp of global privacy frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA
-
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs across legal, compliance, and engineering teams

Experience operationalizing governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) functions
-
Excellent executive communication and business reporting skills
-
PMP, CIPP/US, or equivalent certifications preferred

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)$140,000—$165,000 USDZone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)$123,000—$145,000 USDZone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)$110,000—$129,000 USD
