Role Summary Join the team as a Software Automation Engineering Intern.

You will be instrumental in improving and maintaining RV Tech's automation library and designing software automation for end-to-end customer use cases.

This role has a strong focus on coding and hands-on automation work.

Responsibilities Develop, design, document, and maintain software automation of end-to-end customer use cases.

Ensure the automation framework is robust and modular through utility files and structured tests.

Troubleshoot and debug issues in the automation framework and test cases.

Write test code to test for quality, robustness, and functional correctness, including edge cases.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at an accredited US university.

Proficient in Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field with the intent to return to school following completion of internship.

Experience: with continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins.

Familiarity with Android and Linux systems.

Knowledge of working with scripting languages like Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.

Understanding of Software Engineering Development Process.

Knowledge of working with CI/CD systems.

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies internships & co-ops are experiences optimized for student candidates.

Pay Disclosure US Hourly Rate for Internships: Hourly Rate for Palo Alto applicants: $45 - $51 USD.

Hourly Rate for Irvine applicants: $38 - $45 USD.

Hourly Rate for Illinois applicants: $33 - $40 USD.

The posted salary represents the lowest and highest ranges RV Tech reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position.

Any posted salary range pertains only to the estimated starting pay for the role.

Actual starting pay is based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, skillset, qualifications, specific competencies, relevant education, and location.

Total Rewards Total compensation packages for this position include base salary, eligibility for an annual performance bonus, and eligibility for equity.
