Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played video game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.

We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.

That's where you come in.

As a Production Manager at Riot, we lead passionate teams to create new products and experiences that provide maximum player value. We guide development, smash through obstacles, and push projects across the finish-line. We help concept, build, and influence projects at every stage of production.

As a Senior Game Product Manager (Monetization and Growth) on the Fight for the Golden Spatula (FFGS)team, you will guide the strategy and delivery of the monetization related production and create exciting new experience within **Fight for the Golden Spatula. ** You will engage with the community and player data to ensure that the team is delivering maximum value, maintaining a singular focus on providing the best possible player experience. You will also establish what success looks like and work closely with our partners of development and publishing for building a clear plan for the development team to achieve it. You will report into FFGS's Director, Game/Product direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive exciting new monetization strategy and content that allow players to express themselves and customize their game experience

  • Drive monetization related system features design and related content production with development team

  • Support Riot on the daily operations and production of Fight for the Golden Spatula, and work with our partners on further developing game content

  • Assist the production team and product managers with being involved in game production projects, improve feature landing efficiency and collaborating with partners to optimize players’ experiences

  • Be responsible for continuous efforts in understanding players, monitoring and analyzing in-game and around game experiences performance in FFGS

  • Follow closely on market trends for in-game social and growth product features, while gathering market and competitor intelligence to inform our own strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in game product management or game development, practiced knowledge of monetization strategy and product development with expertise in aligning product roadmaps with desired outcomes and goals.

  • Experience with managing external partnership with developers and publishers

  • Experience with Agile frameworks - managing the priority of team and product backlogs and knowing your way around a product roadmap.

  • Bi-lingual in English and Mandarin

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience playing FFGS and other titles in the autobattler genre, and have a deep understanding of the mode and associated systems

  • You take a holistic systems thinking view of the product development life-cycle and adapt processes accordingly.

  • Experience being the accountable party for co-development game products

  • Experience with a global, live game service

Don’t forget to include a resume and cover letter. We receive a lot of applications, but we’ll notice a fun, well-written intro that shows us you take play seriously.

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players. We will be looking at your past studies, experience, and your personal relationship with games. If you embody player empathy and care about the experiences of players, this could be the role for you!
