As a Senior Design Technologist, you'll join the Design Enablement, Programs & Technology organization, where you will leverage expert-level technical skills in frontend engineering, design systems architecture, and modern web technologies to build scalable, production-ready solutions. You excel at translating complex design concepts into high-quality code while serving as a bridge between Design and Engineering teams. Your strong collaboration skills enable you to work effectively with designers, engineers, product managers, and content specialists—facilitating technical discussions, conducting code reviews, and ensuring seamless design-to-development handoffs. You contribute to cross-functional initiatives and apply best practices that enable teams to deliver accessible, performant, and consistent user experiences across the organization.

To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

• Expert Technical Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React), with proven ability to translate complex designs into functional, production-ready code at scale. Deep understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.

• Design Systems Expertise: Solid knowledge and multiple years of hands-on experience in design system development and expansion, including building component libraries, implementing design tokens, and creating comprehensive documentation. Strong understanding of design system architecture and best practices that ensure consistency across multiple products and teams.

• Code Quality & Technical Excellence: Strong experience conducting code reviews, setting high technical standards, and debugging complex issues. Ability to establish and follow coding best practices across teams.

• Project Ownership & Delivery: Demonstrated ability to own projects from start to finish, accurately estimate design work for large projects, and manage stakeholder expectations when adjustments are needed. Experience designing and building new features with loosely defined scope and complex requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience & Domain Expertise:3-5 years of relevant work experience in design technology, frontend engineering, or related fields, with deep understanding of product domain and users. Proven ability to work autonomously on complex projects while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.

• Advanced Prototyping & Tooling:Good understanding of Figma and advanced prototyping tools. Ability to create high-fidelity, interactive prototypes that effectively communicate complex interactions and validate user experiences at scale.

• Systems Thinking: Strong architectural mindset with ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable front-end systems. Experience with modern build tools, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Cross-functional Influence: Proven ability to work effectively with Product Management, Engineering, and Design teams, serving as a bridge between disciplines. Experience managing stakeholder expectations and resolving conflicts through proactive problem-solving.

• AI-Powered Design Workflow: Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools for design workflow optimization (AI-assisted component generation, automated design specs, intelligent design-to-code translation). Proven ability to build AI-powered tools that enhance design handoff processes and team productivity.
