Say hello to possibilities.

It’s not every day that you consider starting a new career. We’re happy that someone as talented as you is considering this role. Ring Central is a $2 billion global leader in cloud-based communications and collaboration software. We are fundamentally changing the nature of human interaction—giving people the freedom to connect powerfully and personally from anywhere, at any time, on any device.

About Project

PlanIT is Ring Central’s internal platform that supports key SDLC workflows: planning, release management, resource management, QA processes, vulnerability management, and reporting.

With PlanIT, you can see in one place:

  • Resources and org structure: teams, groups, hierarchy, and ownership.

  • Work and plans: what teams are doing now, what’s next, where capacity is tight, and where risks are building.

  • Business value alignment: how initiatives map to business value and team capacity.

  • Full release picture: what ships, when, to which environments, dependencies, owners, statuses, and backlog volume.

  • Connected ecosystem of catalogs and controls: components/microservices catalog, unified reporting, and vulnerability management—so the parts reinforce each other instead of living as separate tools.

PlanIT aggregates data from ~15 internal systems (e.g., Jira, Workday, test management, deployment/CI/CD). Some integrations are bi-directional (e.g., Jira sync), so teams keep using their preferred tools while PlanIT adds transparency, consistency, and end-to-end workflows.

Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner who will own requirements end-to-end and serve as the single source of truth for product agreements: gather stakeholder inputs, align and reconcile them, translate them into clear user stories, and support delivery through to outcomes.

Multiple cross-functional teams work on the product (around 16 people). The Product Owner drives priorities through the backlog and ensures consistent context and clarity for both stakeholders and delivery teams.

What you will do

  1. Stakeholders and requirements (primary focus)
  • Gather, clarify, and align requirements from multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Remove ambiguity, resolve conflicts, and document agreements (scope, constraints, acceptance criteria).

  • Manage expectations before and after release: what was delivered, what was not, why, and what comes next.

  1. Backlog and user stories
  • Convert agreements into well-structured user stories with acceptance criteria and definition of done.

  • Break down initiatives into deliverable slices suitable for planning and incremental release.

  1. Team communication and vision alignment
  • Provide context, explain “why,” and answer team questions quickly during refinement and delivery.

  • Ensure solutions remain consistent across product domains and aligned with the product direction.

  1. UX, Competitors, AI
  • Improve user flows: simplify processes, reduce complexity, and specify behavior and edge cases.

  • Benchmark competitors and adjacent tools in PlanIT domains and propose improvements.

  • Use AI tools in daily work (structuring requirements, analysis, documentation, research).

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience specifically as a Product Owner (no people-management focus).

  • Strong Agile practice: backlog ownership, refinement, planning, demos.

  • Ability to turn ambiguous inputs into clear, testable user stories.

  • Strong facilitation and alignment skills across stakeholders; ability to document decisions clearly.

  • Strong UX mindset (experience improving flows in complex products).

  • Proven, practical use of AI in day-to-day work.

  • English upper-intermediate both spoken and written

  • Fluent Russian language both spoken and written
    Nice to have

  • Experience building internal platforms/tools for engineering organizations.

  • Experience in domains such as release planning, capacity/resource management, QA/reporting.

Maintain and prioritize a transparent backlog for teams and stakeholders.

What we offer:

  • Well-coordinated professional team.

  • Cutting edge technologies, interesting and challenging tasks, dynamic project, great opportunities for self-realization, professional and career growth.

  • Additional Health and Life Insurance Package.

  • Employee Assistance Program.

  • 25 vacation days.

  • 102,26 EUR/200 BGN Digital Food Vouchers

  • 61, 36 EUR/120 BGN Gross as part of the salary for Working Expenses Allowance
