We are currently looking to fill a Category Manager- Commercial position within our team. In this role you will take a lead in the development and implementation of the our Global Clinical Category Management strategy by gathering and anticipating business supply needs and specifications and will aim to manage a supply base and enhance value, minimize risk, and ensure quality & cost effectiveness by working collaboratively within the business unit. This role works in close collaboration with IOPS Stakeholders to enable company revenue targets and the new product pipeline.

In this role, a typical day may include the following:

• Collaborating with partners leading discussions related to the Market Access Category strategies and aligns category priorities

• Manage negotiations, supplier management activities, and partner engagement activities

• Drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings

• Represent Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in Global strategies with critical short and long-term impact on success, efficiency, growth, and results

• Demonstrate knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support growth

• Manage category activities to ensure compliance with any & other applicable regulations

To be considered you are to have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus 6+ years of relevant, progressive experience in procurement, including experience in Pharma/Bio Pharma

Experience successfully managing clinical category processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories is required

$114,800.00 - $187,400.00
