Working in the Global Procurement team you will build a procurement capability that focuses on end-to-end category accountability for category management, sourcing, contracting, and supplier relationship management for assigned categories. These category teams will be enabled by procurement colleagues in an expanded Center of Excellence, an International Markets team, and a Capability Center all accountable for driving consistency and efficiency.

As a Manager within the Sourcing team a typical day might include the following:

  • Supporting the definition and implementation of the global Single Use Technology Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs

  • Working closely with stakeholders to manage discussions related to the Single Use Technology Categories and aligns category priorities with Procurement management and stakeholders

  • Managing negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities while providing insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable optimal negotiations

  • Driving value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings

  • Using external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron’s knowledge of supply market dynamics

  • Successfully supporting the global supply market evaluation process using all available market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools

  • Managing category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate Gx Ps and other applicable regulations

  • Negotiating contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron’s priorities and business requirements

  • Using data to drive decision-making for successful category projects

To be considered for this position you should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus 10 years of relevant, progressive experience in procurement, including experience in Pharma/Bio Pharma.
