Redis Cloud Maintenance Operations team is hiring for an operator role.

We’re looking for a technically strong individual who has a passion for working on large-scale systems, supporting our valued customers, and operating state-of-the-art products.

In this role, you will participate in the monitoring and operating of the Redis Cloud Environment, hosted on all major cloud providers.

We’re looking for team players who are highly motivated, with good attention to detail, and are technically oriented to be working in an intense production environment.

What you’ll do:

• Perform maintenance activities on cloud infrastructure using various tools and methods

• Troubleshoot and debug basic errors related to the maintenance activities

• Read and analyze logs to identify issues

• Coordinate maintenance activities and execute them

• Escalate major issues to the relevant teams

• Monitor large scale maintenances in real time

• Perform post-maintenance checks for health and performance

• Build upgrade and optimization batches

• Follow and constantly improve runbooks

What will you need to have?

• Student in a technical field or relevant technical experience (working in shifts- 80%-100% scope of work)

• Basic understanding of networking

• Basic understanding of cloud computing

• Familiarity with Linux and Windows

• Troubleshooting skills

• Organized

• Communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, including 24/7 availability and working in shifts around the clock
