About the Job
Support our rapidly growing sales efforts in the India-South Asia region. The Red Hat Pre Sales team is looking for solution architects who bring presales and technology industry experience to join us as Account Solutions Architects in the commercial segment. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for working with the extended RH team in their efforts to make Red Hat’s customers and partners successful with our enterprise technologies and solutions for cloud, infrastructure, virtualization and middleware. You’ll solve problems, create possibilities, and establish working relationships with field solutions architects.
You'll be expected to use your expertise and passion to identify and create business solutions across multiple technology platforms at the enterprise level. As a Senior Account Solutions Architect, you'll need to have excellent communication and people skills because you'll be a crucial part of the first and continued experience our customers have with Red Hat.
What will you do

In this presales role, you will discover and analyze customer business and technical needs to provide the right solution to customers and meet the objectives of customer and Red Hat.

Collaborate with the sales, product business units and technical delivery teams to bring our customers the most efficient solutions

Build, design, and present complex solutions to customers
-
Support the sales team with recommendations for development and implementation of complex offerings and solutions that will result in the achievement of sales quotas

Meet revenue goals and service objectives while maintaining good relationships with existing and prospective customers
-
Prepare detailed specifications for our offerings and implement customer installation plans
-
Provide evaluations of our offerings and proofs of concepts to partners and customers
-
Perform presales and deep technical presentation and Demos of Red hat products and technologies
-
Assist in responding to customer technical inquiries including RFPs and RFIs
-
Perform demonstrations of our offerings and solutions and support corporate
demonstration infrastructures

Lead knowledge sharing across teams and functions
-
Participate in solutions architect discussion channels and internal technical communities
-
Assist marketing and business teams with launches of information about our offerings
What will you bring
-
6 to 10 years of practical experience in at least two of the following
-
Red Hat Open Shift Platform, Red Hat Open Stack Platform, Red Hat Ansible, Red Hat Fuse, Red Hat 3Scale API Management, Red Hat JBoss, Red Hat Cloud Forms
-
Advanced technical understanding of application and server virtualization, cloud infrastructure markets, and competitive offerings
-
Working knowledge of / experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or another Linux distribution
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to persuade key stakeholders
-
Ability to learn on your own and work in an ambiguous environment
-
Solid documentation skills; comfortable presenting to mid and large-sized audiences and explaining technical details to non-technical audiences
-
Red Hat Certifications like RHCA and RHCE would be a plus
-
Understanding of industry trends in cloud computing, end-user computing, development platform, or virtualization is a plus
-
4 years of experience architecting complex solutions that meet current and future customer requirements
-
Ability to look at Enterprise Architecture / Data Center solutions holistically.
