What You Will Do
-
Ensure welds are performed to drawing and weld procedures
-
Perform pre-weld visual fit up and welding equipment verification
-
Perform post-weld visual inspection to ensure Quality requirements are achieved
-
Define re-work and repair schemes and document accordingly
-
Mentor and provide constructive feedback to Fitting and Welding Operators
-
Undertake department spot checks to ensure TPM and continued NADCAP compliance
-
Participate in RRCA investigations and support implementing robust corrective actions
-
Support improvement activities to remove waste and improve efficiency

Qualifications We Prefer

TIG Welding experience in Aluminum and Stainless / Nickel Alloys (essential)
-
CSWIP Level 3.0 qualified (essential)

Minimum City & Guilds Fabrication and Welding qualified or equivalent
-
Knowledge of weld measurement techniques and equipment
