UnspecifiedManages and oversees overall supply chain operations and executes the company’s supply chain strategy to improve and stabilize supply flow while reducing cost
Coordinates with the line managers of production, warehouse, logistics, and distribution for the smooth flow of the supply chain.
Devises plans or improvises the current methods to reduce the procurement, production, and transportation costs without compromising the quality specifications.
Monitors supplier performance in areas of responsiveness and flexibility.
Coordinates and resolves issues regarding existing and new products.
Interacts with customers to ensure that all requirements are being met.
Manages a team of intermediate or experienced professionals and sets short-term operational plans for the team
Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
8 years of relevant experience in a purchasing and sourcing environment.
Basic knowledge in using ERP systems (preferred SAP, JD Edwards)
Experience working with SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning), preferably with APICS (CPIM) certification
Preferably with experience in Aerospace or Automotive or Electronics industries
Ability to lead and manage people
Ability to apply tools for practical problem solving and improvement initiatives
Good verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to apply logical and scientific thinking principles to solve a wide range of intellectual, organizational, and practical problems
Must not be under Performance Improvement Plan.
Must not have had any disciplinary case within the past year.
With at least a year in his/her current position.
