In Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers. We are excited to announce an opportunity for the Coyote Effector Test Director (TD) role to join our team in Tucson AZ. The TD will be responsible for performing integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and execution of test events cumulating in multiple flight test demonstrations.
• Perform comprehensive planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of testing activities.
• Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements.
• Conduct/create documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which may include Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Engineering Safety Review Boards (ESRB’s).
• Liaison between the test execution team, customer representatives (when present) and program leads during the preparation and execution of the test events.
• This position may require up to 10% travel during periods that include field test execution.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with test planning and/or test execution.
• Experience with test related reviews ( i.e. CTS, TRR & ESRB’s)
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer: (5-6 Bullets Max)

• Experience in a test environment with emphasis in test execution. Preference for experience in both test planning/strategy in addition to test execution.
• Experience with Coyote flight test operations or other rapid development programs.
• Experience with Systems Integration.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Experience with integrating test equipment, telemetry data analysis tools, and missile systems host platforms.
• Ability to become certified in explosives handling for 1.1 products

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
