This position will be hybrid requiring a minimum of 2 days per week (sometimes more) in office in Coppell, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.
JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Operations, National Commercial Services, is responsible for day-to-day leadership, execution, and scalability of the Company’s Commercial and Land Services operations. This role ensures that operational delivery aligns with national growth strategy, client commitments, and regulatory requirements.
The Director of Operations serves as the operational backbone of the Commercial Services business, translating sales strategy and client expectations into consistent, compliant, and efficient execution across markets and jurisdictions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Title Operations Leadership

Lead the national Commercial and Land Services operations, overseeing service delivery for complex, high-volume, and multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Manage and develop operational leaders, title managers, escrow leaders, and support teams aligned to the Commercial Services function.

Ensure consistent execution of operational standards, workflows, and service models across all markets.

Act as the primary owner of operational performance, quality, and turnaround times for commercial transactions.

Serve as the escalation point for complex operational issues, client delivery challenges, and transaction risk concerns.
Operational Execution & Scalability

Translate national growth initiatives and client commitments into scalable operational plans.

Oversee capacity planning, staffing models, and workload distribution to support growth without sacrificing quality or compliance.

Identify operational risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems, and tools supporting Commercial Services operations.

Partner with technology, product, and systems teams to enhance efficiency and client experience.
Compliance, Risk & Quality Management

Ensure Commercial Title operations adhere to regulatory, underwriting, and compliance requirements across all jurisdictions.

Partner closely with underwriting, legal, and compliance teams to structure and execute complex transactions appropriately.

Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness.

Champion a culture of risk awareness, operational discipline, and accountability.
Cross-Functional Partnership

Partner closely with the VP, National Commercial Title & Business Development to align operational execution with sales strategy and client expectations.

Collaborate with business development, finance, underwriting, legal, and executive leadership to support enterprise objectives.

Support client-facing discussions as the operational subject matter expert when needed.
Performance Management & Reporting

Establish and manage operational KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to drive transparency and accountability.

Monitor service-level performance, productivity, error rates, and cycle times.

Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning efforts.

Use data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
Leadership & Culture

Build and lead a high-performing Commercial Title operations team.

Coach and develop leaders to support succession planning and long-term growth.

Foster a culture of collaboration between operations, sales, and support teams.

Model leadership behaviors aligned with the Company’s values and growth mindset.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
-
5–8 years of progressive experience in commercial title or complex real estate operations, including leadership responsibility.

Demonstrated success leading multi-market or national operations.

Strong understanding of commercial title workflows, underwriting requirements, and regulatory environments.
-
Proven ability to scale operations in support of growth.
-
Experience partnering closely with sales and executive leadership.

High School Diploma or equivalent, 4 Year Degree Preferred

Licensing required as required by State/Federal Agencies

Notary Public license as required by State
