The Director, Wealth Consulting (WC) is primarily charged with partnering with the VP, Wealth Consulting in achieving Assets Under Management (AUM) growth, increased GDR and increased number of financial professionals active on the Investment platform. The role also works with the VP, Wealth Consultant to increase Financial Planning production. The Director, Wealth Consultant may also work closely with financial professionals and field leadership.
The Dir, Wealth Consultant is part of a team reporting to the Vice President, Wealth Consultant. Through the development of strong business relationships, the Dir, Wealth Consultant provides support and participates in coaching at the local level to strengthen and enhance the financial professionals’ skills and elevate the investment and financial planning knowledge of field leadership. They will also source and deliver product information, competitive data, and provide technical guidance to financial professionals and field leadership. Interaction with financial professionals is through individual face to face meetings but also includes virtual for both large group meetings and small group sessions.
The Wealth Consultant will collaborate with the Advisor Services product management team and with Learning and Business Consulting to drive results, increase technology adoption and share uncovered training needs. All materials, concepts and ideas that Wealth Consultants deliver must be compliance approved.
Moderate travel is anticipated.
Qualifications:
High motivation and energy with the ability to drive production, AUM and revenue objectives collaboratively and autonomously
A broad and comprehensive knowledge of the Investment business, including an understanding of the sales process and ongoing activity pertaining to maintain and growing AUM
Excellent communication skills
Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
Familiarity with tools such as e-Money, Nitrogen, Morningstar Analytics etc.
Solid understanding of compliance
Series 7 & 65 or 66 within 90 days and prior investment or wholesaler experience a plus.
Industry recognized designations such as ChFC, CFP are highly desirable

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $147,100.00 to $220,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.-
