  • Custodian at Principal, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless management of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Validate income entitlements and verify positions and rates with outstanding accuracy.

Handle dividend, interest, ex-date, record date, and payable date processing proficiently.

Manage the trade life cycle with proven expertise.

Coordinate corporate action income events, both mandatory and voluntary.

Complete payment processes, including incoming/outgoing wires, FED, and ACH transactions efficiently.

Differentiate, process, and reconcile transactions meticulously.

Research inquiries and resolve customer complaints promptly.

Review time-sensitive and complex documents diligently.

Build or revise departmental procedures to ensure strict compliance.

Assist the team leader/manager in proactively managing process risks.

Perform quality checks on co-workers’ outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Lead or engage in initiatives aimed at process improvement and innovation.

Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

At least 2 years of relevant experience demonstrating strong Employee Benefit, Trust, and Custody knowledge.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with business partners and management.

Additional Information Shift Timings This role follows a shift timing of 6.30 pm to 3.30 pm IST (Daylight Saving) / 5.30 pm to 2.30 pm IST
