What You'll Do We’re looking for a Senior Director, Global RFP Services & Content Strategy to join our Client
Experience: leadership team.
In this role, you’ll set the global vision and build the next‑generation, AI‑enabled RFP and content capability that fuels growth across Principal Asset Management.
As the enterprise owner for RFPs, DDQs, and consultant databases, you’ll define the strategy and operating model for a global, cross‑asset RFP function—ensuring our content, processes, and technology infrastructure scale with the needs of our public and private markets businesses.
You’ll also champion a unified content experience and partner closely with teams across Investments, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Distribution to advance our growth and client experience priorities.
You will: Lead a global team responsible for delivering best‑in‑class consultant database, RFP, and DDQ responses across the full lifecycle, ensuring consistency, accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional service.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative culture, applying strong performance management to drive accountability, growth, and results.
Own the roadmap and ROI for core platforms and vendors (e.g., RFPIO//Responsive), content hubs (e.g., Seismic/Share Point), data integrations (e.g., CRM/BI), and Copilot‑style assistants in partnership with client intelligence and technology teams.
Build tight feedback loops aligned to growth and engagement with Institutional Sales, Wealth/Intermediary, and Consultant Relations; enhance consultant database coverage; enhanced win rates and proactively position content for priority segments.
Build a best‑in‑class content and production strategy, establishing a single source of truth for Q&A, strategy and product information, performance narratives, and market views.
Lead a proactive private markets content strategy in close partnership with Product and client teams.
Design and govern a global follow‑the‑sun model with clear SLAs, work allocation, and escalation paths across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, while ensuring a consistent quality and compliance framework.
Develop global analytics that surface client themes, competitive insights, and product white spaces; brief executives and inform growth strategy with data‑backed recommendations.
Implement responsible generative AI and retrieval‑augmented workflows (e.g., knowledge graphs, curated answer libraries, prompt orchestration, human‑in‑the‑loop review) to improve cycle times, quality, and scalable expertise.
Partner with Legal/Compliance to ensure adherence to global regulatory requirements.
Partner with investment teams across public and private markets to develop high‑quality, client‑forward content and support a culture of learning, accountability, and investment acumen.
Stay connected to market and industry trends, representing Principal and Client
Experience: internally and externally at key leadership and industry forums.
Make strategic talent decisions across hiring, compensation, rewards, and development—including upskilling the team in AI literacy, investment acumen, and consultative storytelling.

Salary: Range Information
Salary: ranges below reflect targeted base salaries.
Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program.
Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary: Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $179000 - $243000 / year
Salary: Details The base salary range for this role is $179,000 - $243,000 as indicated above.
Final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
In addition to base pay, this role participates in an annual profit share bonus plan.
Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
