Responsibilities Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Senior Salesforce Developer)

Experience: Required: 5+ years (Salesforce Development) Primary Skills: Salesforce (Apex, LWC, Triggers, Integrations), Java, AWS Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Salesforce Developer to lead the development of robust, scalable Salesforce solutions.

This role involves designing and implementing complex applications, integrating with external systems, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-impact business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Salesforce, Java, and AWS, along with strong leadership in solution architecture and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce applications and solutions.

Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Flows to support scalable business processes.

Design and implement integration between Salesforce and external platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and AWS services.

Contribute to end-to-end solution design including technical architecture, data modeling, and application performance optimization.

Ensure code quality and maintainability through Salesforce best practices and design principles.

Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and detailed design specifications.

Support CI/CD processes, conduct code reviews, and perform unit/integration testing for high-quality deliverables.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams leveraging Java and AWS for backend and integration logic.

Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and participate in agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.

Proficiency in LWC, Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Aura Components.

At least 2 years of experience in solution design and technical architecture within Salesforce.

Solid experience with Java programming for backend and integration development.

Working knowledge of AWS (2+ years) – including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, or similar services.

Experience: with CI/CD tools such as Flosum, Git, or equivalent.

Excellent written and oral communication skills for working with stakeholders, business analysts, and Product Owners.

Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is mandatory; Platform Developer II or Application Architect certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications Must Have Education: Graduate Bachelors degree (any stream) Other: Strong technical skills.

Knowledge of SDLC.

Good aptitude, positive attitude, strong reasoning and communication skills.

Must be a good team player.

Good analytical skills, research oriented.

Sound knowledge of Principal Financial Group specific application.

Ability to resolve questions/issues related to the application as a Subject matter expert, ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
