What You'll Do This role is responsible for sales activities for Principal Retail Annuities and Income Solutions throughout Central CA, Nor Cal, and the PacNW.

You'll impact sales by partnering with financial advisors sharing sales ideas, answering product questions, identifying new sales opportunities, and managing assigned daily activities of their territory.

Here are a few examples of the types of things you'll do: Develop and execute sales plans, activity reports and rotation schedules.

Works closely with Internal Wholesaler within assigned territory for collective success.

Presentations to large groups(banker/advisor training programs) and one on one in a face to face and a virtual setting, ability to provide case design consultation and timely follow-ups. Heavy incentive component in addition to salary listed.

Who You Are Bachelor's degree or eight years of equivalent experience required plus 6+ years related sales experience Series 6 & 63 required within 45 days.

Strong preference for current licensing.

Advanced designations preferred (CFP®, RICP®, ChFC®) Excellent knowledge of annuity solutions, competitive intelligence and financial markets required Strong interpersonal skills, consultative skills, and advisor expertise are required Must have strong presentation, and oral and written communication skills Good training and motivational skills are necessary Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality Extensive travel and overnight stays required (approximately 50-80%)

Salary: Range Information This position offers a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary combined with incentive earnings.

The base salary will provide financial stability, while the incentive component offers additional earning potential based on performance metrics.

Salary: Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $70000 - $70000 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Location: This is a remote position that needs to be located within territory: Strong preference for Sacramento and/or San Francisco.
