Key Responsibilities Build, install, configure, and deploy middleware stack manually and through Ansible automation.
Troubleshoot level 3 issues for Web Sphere Application Server, Liberty, and other listed technologies.
Plan, coordinate, and implement patches/upgrades to middleware software to the latest or required levels.
Coordinate and perform OS & DB maintenance activities.
Take thread and heap dumps, and analyze them.
Manage certificates, including CSR generation, certificate issuance, implementation, and validation.
Write Ansible playbooks and manage their execution from Ansible Tower.
Transfer middleware software to AWS cloud as both server-based and serverless options.
Demonstrate knowledge of Fargate, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, AWS CDK, and other AWS services.
Handle Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, EKS, and CI/CD processes using GitHub actions.
Address service requests and user fulfillment related to provisioning, deployments, and assistance.
Provide on-call support for priority issues.
Understand vulnerabilities and implement fixes according to security guidelines.
Fulfill audit requirements and coordinate related activities.
Monitor and tune Web Sphere/Liberty JVM.
Understand REST, SOAP, API, JSON, XML, and OAuth token configurations for APIs.
Qualifications Must Have Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, Abilities Demonstrated experience with a minimum of 8-10 years in the IT industry.
Expertise in DevOps tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Service Now, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible and Terraform, and scripting languages such as Python and Shell scripting.
Hands-on experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
