We are now looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Fixed Assets and Leases to join our growing RTR organization in Budapest.

 

 

About the Role

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of fixed assets and lease transactions. You will partner closely with business stakeholders including Core Services, IT, and FP&A teams –both locally and internationally – to support high-quality financial reporting.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys complex accounting tasks, takes ownership of their work, and communicates confidently across functions.

 

What You’ll Do

•    Oversee and ensure accurate processing of Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) in SAP
•    Book and review depreciation and amortization for Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE)
•    Maintain monthly reviews of Asset Under Construction (AUC) balances with business partners
•    Prepare and post journal entries for period-end adjustments
•    Execute asset subledger transactions (impairments, write-offs, retirements, etc.)
•    Prepare detailed reports and analyses for senior stakeholders and NY Segment Reporting
•    Manage lease accounting activities and maintain accurate data in Lease Accelerator
•    Perform balance sheet reconciliations for PPE and lease-related GL accounts
•    Support proper accounting for SaaS and software assets
•    Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency projects
•    Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and SOX requirements 

 

 

What We’re Looking For

Basic Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
•    2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a shared services environment

 

 

Additional Skills & Experience

•    Strong written and verbal English communication skills
•    Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•    Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
•    Attention to detail and ownership of deliverables
•    Experience with SAP ERP is a strong advantage
