Functieomschrijving

De magazijntechnicus is verantwoordelijk voor diverse activiteiten binnen de opslag, verzending, ontvangst en orderverwerking van onze magazijnoperatie. De functie vereist het organiseren van een breed scala aan materialen en communicatie met interne belanghebbenden. De ideale kandidaat beschikt over een hoge mate van flexibiliteit, sterke aandacht voor detail, het vermogen om adequaat te reageren op instructies en om te voldoen aan de fysieke eisen van de functie, waaronder het bedienen van elektrische en handmatige palletwagens. Kandidaten voor deze functie moeten zeer veiligheidsbewust zijn.

Kernverantwoordelijkheden

• Voorbereiden van goederen voor verzending

• Laden van vrachtwagens en etiketteren van verzendinformatie

• Ontvangen van onderdelen en andere goederen

• Correct en nauwkeurig catalogiseren van ontvangen en verzonden voorraad

• Orderverwerking voor materiaalhandling, Elektrolyserprojecten, H2-vloot, RMA en Service

• Voorraadbeheer

• Frequent tillen, buigen en trekken

• Bediening van materiaalbehandelingsapparatuur, waaronder heftrucks en palletwagens

• Uitvoeren van dagelijkse cyclustellingen

• Duidelijke en professionele communicatie met interne belanghebbenden

• Gebruik van Microsoft Office, inclusief Excel, Word en Outlook

• Incidenteel gebruik van handgereedschap

• Plug Power te allen tijde op een professionele manier vertegenwoordigen

• Positieve relatie onderhouden met medewerkers, klanten en leveranciers

• Alle overige toegewezen taken uitvoeren

Opleiding en Ervaring

• MBO-MBO+ vereist, vakopleiding en/of eerdere ervaring in magazijnwerkzaamheden gewenst

• Kennis van Microsoft Office en Avante voorraadbeheer is een pré

• Vermogen om tijd effectief te beheren

• Sterke organisatorische vaardigheden en aandacht voor detail

• Uitstekende mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatieve vaardigheden

• Professionele beheersing van Nederlands en Engels

• Kennis van magazijnoperaties, inclusief verzending en ontvangst, orderverwerking en voorraadbeheer is een pré

• Uitstekende taakgerichte opvolging

• Vermogen om regelmatig tot 25 kg te tillen en langere tijd te staan

• Bereidheid om korte tijd in slechte weersomstandigheden te werken

Warehouse Technician (English)

Department: Warehouse Operations

Position Summary

The warehouse technician will be responsible for a range of activities within the warehousing, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment sections of our warehouse operation. The position requires the organization of a wide range of materials, and communication with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate must possess a high degree of flexibility, strong attention to detail, the ability to competently respond to direction and the ability to satisfy physical demands of the position, including the operation of electric and manual pallet jacks. Applicants for this position must be extremely safety conscious.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparing merchandise for shipment
• Loading of trucks, and labeling of shipping information
• Receiving parts and other merchandise
• Properly and accurately cataloging received and shipped inventory
• Order fulfillment for material handling, Electrolyzer Projects, H2 fleet, RMA and Service
• Inventory control
• Frequent lifting, bending, and pulling
• Operation of material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Perform daily cycle counts
• Clear and professional cross-functional communication with internal stakeholders
• Operation of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Occasional operation of hand tools
• Represent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions.
• Maintain a positive relationship with employees, clients, and suppliers.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• MBO-MBO+ required, vocational training and/or prior experience in warehousing preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Avante inventory management preferred
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication skills, strong written communication skills
• Proficient in Dutch and English language skills at a professional level.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management preferred
• Excellent task-oriented follow through
• Ability to frequently lift up to 25 kg, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in inclement weather for short periods of time
