Role Summary
The Medical Writing Technologist (Senior Associate) supports the implementation, adoption, and ongoing optimization of Medical Writing technologies including AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, and document generation systems. The role ensures colleagues are enabled to apply technology effectively through training, user support, simple use-case execution, and partnership with Digital teams to maintain process alignment, compliance, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:

Support implementation of Medical Writing technologies, including AI-assisted content generation for safety narratives, plain language documents and quality review tools.

Deliver training, demonstrations, and user enablement materials such as job aids and quick reference guides.

Provide onboarding support for Medical Writing colleagues adopting new tools.
-
Collaboration cross-functionally with Study Teams to gather information, manage cycle times, and meet strict deadlines.

Maintain medical writing deliverables templates, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

Conduct user acceptance testing for simple and moderately complex use cases and provide actionable feedback.

Identify continuous improvement opportunities in existing processes enabled by automation or digital solutions.
Here Is What You Need(Minimum Requirements)

High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience

Proficiency in Information Technology engineering practices

Demonstrated capabilities in collaborating effectively within team settings, often in virtual environments

Strong facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills

Experience in systems architecture, network systems, and application infrastructure
Bonus Points If You Have(Preferred Requirements)

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, technical communication, information systems, or related field.

2–4 years of experience in a technical enablement, digital operations, or Medical Writing/Safety support role.

Strong technical aptitude and ability to translate tool functionality into practical user guidance.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective trainer of diverse colleague groups.

Ability to manage multiple small initiatives and shifting priorities.

Familiarity with, document management solutions, or AI/automation tools.
