Job Summary:

Bio Legend develops world-class, cutting-edge antibodies and reagents for biomedical research. We are seeking a motivated individual to help develop and commercialize ELISA and multiplex immunoassays aligned with the company’s strategic priorities.

The ideal candidate will join the Product Development team and contribute to the development of sandwich ELISA and/or bead-based multiplex immunoassays, including successful transfer of products to Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Sales & Marketing in a timely manner. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with self-motivation and a drive to succeed. After appropriate training, the candidate will be expected to manage assigned responsibilities independently and deliver high-quality results on schedule. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting a growing business in a fast-paced biotech environment.

We are considering Research Associate candidates at Levels I, II, and III.

Essential Functions

  • Perform feasibility, optimization, and validation studies for ELISA and/or Bead-Based Multiplexing immunoassay product development for the measurement of circulating biomarkers and cytokines in a regulated environment, such as ISO13485:2016.
  • Complete all documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, DMRs, project records, and product instructions, required for new product launch.
  • Provide data-driven updates and collaborate with internal QC and Manufacturing teams throughout the assay development process.
  • Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
  • Contribute to scientific discussions and collaborations and present result.
  • Apply knowledge of scientific principles and concepts to the design, development, and execution of experiments.
  • This is a hands-on bench level laboratory position.

Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • BS or MS in Biological Sciences (e.g. biology, biotechnology, immunology, cell biology, biochemistry), or related field.

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • Working knowledge of immunoassay methods used for protein analysis such as biomarkers, with hands-on experience in immunoassay development and optimization or other functional assays preferred.
  • Working experience in a manufacturing or product development setting in compliance with ISO9001/ISO14835 standards would be a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent written and oral communications.
  • Enthusiasm, attention to detail, the ability to meet aggressive deadlines, and ability to work effectively with others in a fast paced, highly-productive environment.

The base salary for this full-time position will vary by level, as we are open to considering candidates at Levels I, II, or III depending on experience and qualifications. Each level has a corresponding salary range that reflects the appropriate scope of responsibilities and expectations. For Level I, the base salary range for this full-time position is $54,500.00 - 72,500.00. The base pay offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share the specific salary range aligned to the level and preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one component of our total compensation package. Compensation is structured to support growth and progression within the role and our company. The listed base salary ranges do not include bonuses, equity, or other benefits, which may be applicable depending on the level and position offered.
