Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Applications Implementation Project Manager to oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of new software and system implementations across our organization. This pivotal role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business operations, translating complex technical details into clear, actionable plans.

Initial focus will be to lead the end-to-end implementation of our Quality Management System (QMS) across the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure the successful deployment of the QMS solution within defined scope, budget, and timeline, while ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • System Implementation: Oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation to post-implementation support, ensuring seamless integration of the QMS software into existing IT infrastructure.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Act as the primary liaison, coordinating efforts between IT, Quality, and other departments to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Compliance & Validation: Ensure the QMS implementation and related processes meet regulatory requirements and industry standards, managing the oversight of validation stages and audit preparation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Establish and implement project communication plans, providing regular updates, status reports, and addressing concerns for all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
  • Training & Documentation: Plan and coordinate training sessions for employees on new QMS software and procedures, and ensure all project and process documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Vendor Management: Manage external software vendors and consultants, ensuring their deliverables meet project requirements and quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the implementation process and the broader quality system methodologies.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with proven experience in enterprise system implementation.
  • Experience with implementing Enterprise Applications such as SFDC, SAP, MS Dynamics, Databricks is strong advantage
  • Required experience with enterprise wide implementation of QMS system
  • Hands-on experience with QMS or other quality/regulatory systems is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects from initiation to completion, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with a Pharma / Life Sciences industry is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
  • Solid understanding of quality management principles and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485).
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or similar quality certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager)
