The Global Monetization Director for PayPal will be responsible for developing and executing strategic and operational initiatives that drive ARPA (average revenue per account) Accretion globally. PayPal large Consumer base represents an opportunity to increase revenue by increasing PayPal’s suite of Financial consumer products penetration and Check out share of wallet. This Leader will Define the monetization strategy and lead the execution of all ARPA growth initiatives E2E. This Director will lead a high-performing team, accountable for translating strategy into results, driving business performance, and fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and execution. This job drives ARPA and revenue growth, leads E2E with cross-functional partners, develops business strategy, influences product outcomes, aligns product/promo levers, engages with product and marketing teams, represents the end customer, and collaborates with stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Drive revenue growth and global market expansion by identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities
• Lead the negotiation with external partners and engage cross-functional support colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of solutions for large complex partnerships.
• Develop and execute an overall business strategy to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities to drive revenue growth and global market expansion.
• Influence the negotiation with external partners, engaging cross-functional support colleagues, to ensure successful delivery of solutions for large complex partnerships.
• Align product and business levers (such as pricing and FX) to maximize revenue and market expansion opportunities.
• Engage closely with product, engineering, and architecture teams to drive the architectural runway and determine the best technical implementation/design.
• Represent the end customer on an ongoing basis and use this knowledge to drive effective prioritization and decision-making.
• Collaborate and influence product outcomes in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders such as Engineering, Operations, Risk, Legal, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and Banking Partners.

Expected Qualifications:

• 10+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

This leader will increase ARPA (average revenue per account) by focusing on the Consumer Base monetization

• Increasing the penetration of our services including P2P, Checkout, Subscriptions, BNPL, Financial services ( debit card, credit card), crossborder remittance ( XOOM)
• Increasing share of wallet or Check out activity by customer. Moving customers from casual buyers to power users
