Job Summary: The Sr. Analyst, Strategic Sourcing is accountable for developing, managing and executing the sourcing strategy for financial services technology and data categories of spend. This individual will work closely with business units to manage sourcing strategies that drive significant value and impact for the business unit operations and profitability. They will drive Sourcing projects (RFPs, RFIs, direct negotiations, etc.) building both, short/medium and long-term opportunities to drive sourcing excellence. The candidate will possess excellent sourcing, stakeholder management and team building experience & skills.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that align with Pay Pal's overall business objectives and procurement strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive category and supplier analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and performance improvement.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels, ensuring optimal value for Pay Pal.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality performance, compliance with contractual obligations, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and develop sourcing strategies that support organizational goals.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities in the procurement landscape.
• Evaluate and select vendors based on thorough research, assessment, and alignment with Pay Pal's strategic goals and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Analyze spend data and procurement metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and report findings to senior management.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Expected Qualifications:

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications: Experience in sourcing data or technology as well as experience with financial services are a plus.

The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:

Primary Location | Pay Range: San Jose, California | ($88,500.00 - $126,500.00 Annually)

Additional Location(s) | Pay Range: Chicago, Illinois | ($80,500.00 - $114,950.00 Annually)
Austin, Texas | ($80,500.00 - $114,950.00 Annually)
Scottsdale, Arizona | ($76,500.00 - $109,450.00 Annually)

Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
