Job Summary:
This job collaborates closely with the business and finance teams on activities such as forecasting, budgeting, month-end closing, financial/deal modeling, performance measurement, reporting and analysis, you will support the development and implementation of transformation projects, optimizing analytics tools and process strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing financial or deal model performance, implementing enhancements as needed, you will contribute to improving processes, and you will be collaborating with stakeholders to gather inputs for business forecasts, summarize insights, and present them to senior leadership.

This highly collaborative role will involve close coordination within the FP&A organization and across broader teams, including the Finance partners, product development, product management, business operations, risk management, data infrastructure teams, and external partners. In this role, the candidate will help transaction expenses for supporting certain segments of TE’s and build automations and consolidation story on top of the baselines, addressing the needs of various regions by deriving toplines and collaborating with local business units (BUs) to analyse market trends and conditions. They will take ownership of their portfolio, ensuring accurate tracking of transaction expense budgets and forecasts, incorporating inputs from BUs, markets, products, and other relevant sources. Meet our team- The Global FP&A organization is responsible for overseeing and managing Margins, Revenue, and Transaction Expenses. Currently, the Payment Finance team is looking for a qualified candidate to lead efforts in monitoring the financial, functional, operational, and technical performance related to transaction expenses, with the aim of enhancing tracking and optimization.

Your day to day Responsibilities include:
- Oversee a portfolio, market, or business unit, ensuring end-to-end ownership of transaction expense tracking across various factors while managing budgets and forecasts.
- Take full ownership of responsibilities, including developing quick and effective solutions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business dynamics and adopt a data-driven approach to create impactful stories that influence stakeholders.
- Analyze regulations, network mandates, and bulletins to assess their impact and prioritize accordingly.
- Demonstrate strong self-motivation by establishing cadences with partners and driving innovative solutions to address market requirements.
- Ability to create solutions and generate data insights as needed.
- Develop and track KPIs used to monitor the overall health of their area of work for transaction expense understand the impacts on Revenue, Margin and Pricings. The scope includes understanding different funding instruments and their costs differ.
- Take a hands-on approach to obtain the right business context, understand the data schema, and develop flawless solutions to reduce costs and work on budgeting and forecasting with cost increases vs benefits that we have.
- Develop, automate, and maintain solutions using Tableau/Power BU and ensure timeliness and accuracy of metrics in the solutions.
- Collaborate with business operations and product teams, prioritize high impact needs to be implemented by Product and Engineering. And maintain an operating rhythm and accountability to identify and resolve product performance issues.
- Develop a strong relationship with the data infrastructure team and provide oversight to the implementation of data quality and data integration solutions across the organization, drive innovative solutions to improve data/analytics quality, data visualization, and automation and scalability of reports and dashboards.
- Quantify impact of any product degradation on key metrics and communicate the potential customer/financial impact to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Develop standardized methodologies and templates (includes metrics discovery, segmentation, benchmarking, time-periods, etc.) so that products can be launched and tracked in an efficient manner across regions. standardize way to measure and track product launches or enhancements to existing products across different markets.

What do you need to bring-
- Total experience: 4 to 5 years in Finance/Forecasting and Analytics.
- Must skills: Python, SQL/Big Query, Visualisation tool (Tableau/Power BI/Looker), Financial Analysis/Forecasting, and Microsoft Excel & Analytics rigour.
- Successful candidates will possess exceptional business judgment, strong analytic skills, and superb communication skills. They must have a passion for living in the data and be comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get into the details of the analysis, as well as being able to synthesize and provide high-level thought leadership.
- This role needs an exceptional skills on Financial KPIs, Analytics, Business understanding & Technical lenses to fulfill their role demands.
- Proven track record of utilizing a data-driven approach to solve ambiguous business problems and delivering business and operational impact.
- Requires strong technical and analytical skills to translate complex transactional data into valuable and insightful information.
- Significant experience SQL and reporting tools (Power BI and Tableau) is required. Python and additional Data bases and automation technologies are required.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree preferably in a quantitative field (statistics/Finance/Analytics/Data Science).
