Overview

Provides leadership to a team that plans, monitors and manages new strategic, cross-functional projects in service operations. Ensures project activities and outcomes meet requirements, mitigate risk, align with department objectives, and achieve stakeholder goals.

Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of project managers and business analysts who perform project management functions, including project analysis to determine project scope and deliverables impact, preparation and maintenance of a project plan, attendance and facilitation of meetings, and communication of project status, to ensure that project goals are met and that actions of the team are aligned with established goals. Ensures leadership of high impact Projects to secure their success.
  • Partners with Product Development, IT, Operations, Sales and stakeholders to prioritize resources and development initiatives affecting Shared Services projects and initiatives in order to drive client service, and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensures management of all Paychex project artifacts regarding scheduling, incidents and updates for project milestones; including follow up on published action items and early notification of regulatory or process changes that will impact a business group to avoid negative impacts and ensure the highest level of service and client satisfaction.
  • Manages department staff including professional development, performance appraisals, and assignments in order retain current staff and support succession planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business
  • Preferred
  • Business Analytical skills, with project management experience or certifications a plus. Excellent instruction and group facilitation skills – real experience with groups implementing multiple initiatives preferred. .
  • 8 years of experience in Related field.
  • Experience managing Global Workforce is required.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $92,209-144,900 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
